New Coffee Shop opens in The Genesis Centre -

New Coffee Shop.
The new coffee shop has finally opened its doors for trading at the Genesis Centre. The shop has moved from its original location next to reception to its new bigger home at the rear of the premises. The reason for the move was to enable the shop to offer more variety to its customers and also to have its own access internally and externally. An official opening ceremony is planned for the 7th April, whereby The Genesis Centre's sponsored Warrington Wolves Rugby player, Richie Myler and Warrington Wolves Mascot, Wolfie, will attend the centre to cut the ribbon and officially open the Coffee Shop.

The Genesis Centre are proud to announce that they have agreed a deal with Warrington Wolves, Challenge Cup winners 2009, to sponsor their new player - Richie Myler, rugby leagues most expensive teenager and England International Player - who has transferred this season from Salford City Reds in a record breaking transfer deal. Tracy Vickers the Centre Manager said "We have sponsored a player with Warrington Wolves now for four years and benefit from this sponsorship every year in so many different ways."
Penny into pounds for St Roccos! -

Warrington Wolves star Kevin Penny was on hand again this year to help raise £250 for St Rocco’s Hospice on our “Bring a Pound to Work” day..
Tenants at the centre each gave a £1.00 for St Rocco’s and also had the added incentive of one lucky person winning a signed Warrington Wolves Rugby Ball and another winning a Christmas Cuddly Toy and having them presented by a Warrington Wolves player.
It is also great to report that with this latest fund raising event, we have now managed to raise over the last 2 year in total, £2,500 for St Rocco’s, which is a local charity and a very worthy cause.

Genesis Centre entertained its business tenants to a spit roast turkey and all the trimming at their office on 10th December, 2008..
Centre Manager, Tracy Vickers, said; "We held a similar event last summer and although the rain didn't stop all day the event was a great success and we raised almost £500 for St Rocco's hospice. We decided on a Christmas theme this year and everyone is gearing up to beat the money raised last year. Kevin Penny, our Warrington Wolves sponsored player is come along to draw the raffle and Santa was also here squeezing money out of our tenants."
During the event, 700 tenants and visitors were treated to spit roasted turkey and all the trimming, followed by stollen cake provided by The Lunch Company; the on-site shop and catering facility.
A Christmas Trio sang jazz/rock seasonal songs and magician Paul Kay was pouring champagne into floating glass and keeping everyone entertained with his close-up magic.
